New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the CUET UG 2024 Re-Test tomorrow, Friday, July 19, 2024. Over 1,000 candidates are expected to appear for the Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate. Among them, 250 candidates are from Oasis Public School in Hazaribagh, which is currently under investigation for an alleged NEET-UG question paper leak, according to PTI. Candidates must download their NTA CUET Admit Card 2024 from the official website: NTA Exams.
Before heading to the exam, candidates should check the reporting time and exam day guidelines. Here are the important instructions:
Eligible Candidates for CUET UG Re-Test
“The grievances received from candidates up to June 30, 2024, regarding the CUET (UG) — 2024 examination, along with complaints sent to rescuetug@nta.ac.in between July 7 and July 9, 2024 (before 05:00 P.M.), have been reviewed. Based on these grievances, a re-examination will be conducted for the affected candidates on July 19, 2024 (28 आषाढ़ 1946), Friday, in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode,” the NTA announced in a press release.
Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates are prohibited from carrying the following items into the Examination Hall/Room:
Instruments, Geometry or Pencil box
Handbag, Purse
Any kind of Paper/ Stationery/ Textual material (printed or written material)
Eatables and Water (loose or packed)
Mobile Phone/ Earphone/ Microphone/ Pager
Calculator, DocuPen, Slide Rules, Log Tables
Camera, Tape Recorder, Electronic Watches with calculator facilities
Any metallic item or electronic gadgets/devices
Candidates wearing articles or objects of faith (customary/ cultural/ religious) should report at least two hours before the last reporting time to allow sufficient time for proper frisking without any inconvenience.
Dress Code for CUET UG 2024 Re-Test
Candidates must adhere to the following dress code:
Light clothes with long sleeves are not permitted. However, candidates in cultural/customary dress should report at least an hour before the last reporting time.
Slippers and sandals with low heels are permitted. Shoes are not allowed.
Required Documents for CUET Exam Centre
Candidates must bring the following documents on the exam day:
Print copy of Admit Card along with Self Declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA Website (a clear printout on A4 size paper) duly filled in.
One passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) for pasting on the specific space in the Attendance Sheet.
Any one of the authorized photo IDs (original, valid, and non-expired): School Identity Card, PAN card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/E-Aadhaar with photograph, Ration Card with photograph, Class 12 Board Admit Card with photograph, Bank Passbook with Photograph.
PwBD certificate issued by the authorized medical officer, if applicable, or a certificate regarding physical limitation in writing the examination, if claiming relaxation under the PwBD category.
